Everyone is making The Last of us comparisons…which is completely okay, the Last of Us was amazing!
This looks great. The tonal shift and the mucked up timeline be damned, I’m approaching this as a solo flick. The X-Men timeline has been destroyed too many times but Jackman’s performance as Wolverine has always been a saving grace of even their bad movies.
Plus I love the OML comic so I’m really excited.

You’re right, TLOU is arguably the best game of all time. I’m fine with it being a bit of a knockoff.

i agree, if anything a part of me is hoping they do. it would fit in perfectly with what we’ve seen so far and would probably be better than the one Hollywood actually dedicates.

Professor X cursing, seems kinda blasphemous. LOL Not impressed by any of the trailers. But I expect to enjoy the movie. I hope the girl has some decent dialogue…or actual dialogue.

the way X-23 took off her backpack was badass. beyond psyched for this film, it looks like no film i’ve ever seen before. i hope it lives up to the hype. question though, how communicable is she? is she going to be like eleven where she only understand basic words like “not” and “okay” or can she speak like a socially functioning person and they’re just saving it?
