Yikes. As much as I love DC, I really want F4 and X-Men to go back to Marvel. They’ve done a good job with their properties and have created a culture around them. F4 needs to be done right, and putting them alongside the Avengers we now know would immediately give them a do over.

Sad, let the F4 franchise go for awhile not trying to do anything else for some time, one choice sell the rights back to Marvel so they can breath life into the characters and incorporate them into the MCU or second choice after waiting at least a good 5-7 years come back at it again with a talented organized creative team, properly cast the F4 , and not start out with the same villains again, switch it up possibly by the F4 already in their careers for awhile and them fighting Dr. Doom already he can come back later into the franchise

It was a truly awful movie. It felt like some cheesy superhero TV pilot. None of the relationships felt genuine. The only thing I liked about the movie was the way they got their powers; that was an interesting twist on the way they became superheroes.
The biggest controversy of the film was that Johnny Storm was black. I was actually expecting great things from Michael B. Jordan. Unfortunately, he was given a shit script to work with.
I also liked the casting of Sue Storm. She’s not a ditzy blonde; she’s smart and strong. But they made her so cold and logical as to be uninspiring. Again, a great actor with shit material to work with.
The backstory of Reed Richards and Ben Grimm? Stupid. Really, really stupid. It never felt genuine.
Overall, I felt like the director tinkered too much with the formula. We love our superhero stories just the way they are; we don’t need some movie studio to make it “better”.
And my biggest fear is that the old FF movie and this one have so mangled the character of Doctor Doom that he’s become cliched. None of the movies have gotten Doom right, and he’s a great enough character in the Marvel Universe that he’d do great in his own movie.
We just need time to forget about this steaming turd first.
