The Oscar-winning actress can be seen in her latest Twitter post in a pair of Captain Marvel pajamas reading Kelly Sue DeConnick’s Captain Marvel Vol. 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More. It will hearten fans of the character a great deal to see her starting with what many perceive to be Captain Marvel’s true ascension into Marvel’s elite. The love goes both ways, as DeConnick has gone on record saying “She [Larson] has a gravitas and she has a power to her. But you can see she also has a sense of humor and playfulness there. I’m psyched.”

I love how everybody is going to start acting like Ms Marvel is, or had ever been, any kind of big deal.
She’s like my 10th favorite (at best) Marvel female character, and probably doesnt break the top 25 overall female comic characters IMO.

She shouldn’t just be reading the comic, she should be studying USAF officer guidebooks. She will do well if she really absorbs the characters background.

She’s reading a boring comic because an MCU film is playing on her tv.
