One of the most beloved characters to come out of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has to be Rocket Raccoon. The loveable but slightly manic raccoon was given a spotlight during the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Strong parallels were made between him and Yondu, which allowed both characters to accept their roles in the lives of their friends. Throughout both films, we did also get small glimpses into his past that may become the focus of future film Vol. 3. The Hasbro HasCon has given us some interesting reveals so far and James Gunn offered a bit more on what we can expect from Rocket’s background. Our own Caleb Borchers was at Gunn’s panel, where one person asked the writer and director about the possibility of Half-World making an appearance and which version we could potentially expect.

It’s going to be a little different from the comics. We already know a lot about from where he came from. It’s a little bit more horrible than what it is in the comics when you come down to it. We will learn more about that.”

Captain Marvel is just a few months away from principal photography, which means the casting news will be flowing steadily from here on out. Ben Mendelsohn recently joined the cast as the film’s villain and now Variety reports that Jude Law is in negotiations to play Dr. Walter Lawson, a.k.a. Mar-Vell, a.k.a. the original Captain Marvel (or Captain […]

Aquaman director James Wan saw the Hollywood Reporter piece and replied on Twitter saying, “Fret not, no ‘air bubbles for dialogue’ in my underwater world.” It sounds like the director has figured out a better way to have the characters talk while underwater. What that solution looks like remains to be seen, but hopefully we’ll […]
