Jeremy Renner has arrived at work. The actor who plays Hawkeye in Marvel Studios’ movies announced on Twitter that he’s on set in Atlanta for his first day of filming on Captain America: Civil War.

I assumed he was done because of the sappy part he had in Age of Ultron. It made it seem like they were pulling a TDKRises and showing him with a “happy life” so we, the audience, can rest assured he is better off.
Basically, I thought they were writing Hawkeye off and coming up with in-story reasons as to why he is leaving.
