loved the show. definitely think it was better than daredevil, and I really liked that show as well.
not mentioning the other members of the MCU by name felt really weird. making vague references to world-saving heroes doesn’t make a lot of sense in this show. there’s 0 reason why she wouldn’t say the name “Captain America.”
I wish there had been some reference to daredevil directly, like a news broadcast of the bombings from the show, or mention that the big evil law firm was busy handling work for Wilson Fisk. just something to show that the events of these shows are connected by more than just the Marvel banner and the occasional cameo.

Yeah I think my only reticence is that if it “all connected” then don’t be so afraid to connect the shows.

They always say it’s connected and the fans always want these connects, but sometime I think Marvel thinks the fans just want actors popping up. I would have loved a mention or TV broadcast thing in the background mentioning what happened to Fisk’s empire etc, over a physical cameo (and frankly, even some less of Claire Temple). I’m really glad that Charlie Cox didn’t appear, even as Matt Murdock. It let Jessica Jones be its own thing.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Still prefer Daredevil but then I’m a martial arts guy, but its not by much. God, I’m ready for Luke cage and Ironfist.

There is a rumor that Ironfist is going to be postponed and instead they put to The Punisher…

(SPOILERS AHEAD)
loved the show in general my favourite part of the show was absolutely David tennant as The purple man, I’m kind of gutted that he was killed by Jessica i was actually rooting for him. But i hope they bring him back somehow like if H.Y.D.R.A resurrected him oh that would be so cool, can you imagine him taking control of all of the avengers?0 likes -
Hated it. One tenth of daredevil.

Loved the first few episodes but I started liking it less and less the more I watched it. Luke Cage was easily the best part of the show and while David Tennant was brilliant as Kilgrave, I hated the direction they took him, not to mention that he was killed off.
Too many pointless side characters and uninteresting sub plots as well.
I really hate to say this, given how exited I was to see this and how much I love Alias.

You’ve just summed up exactly how I felt about it. It was like they had committed to 13 episodes, but only had enough story for 8.
That whole “I need to go to supermax, now”, plotline, was ridiculous
Overall I did enjoy it though, just not as much as Daredevil

Loved the show so far ( only manged to stay till episode 8) will watch the rest soon. I must say kilgrave creeped me the hell out so much so i was tempted at times to put the live stream off but i pushed through

It’s a hardboiled detective novel and the best thing Marvel Studios has ever done, with the best female super-hero in any TV or movie. Amazing and deep lead, boosted by a brilliant score that has BB King and Miles Davis tones. A huge step foward for MCU for it is both darker and sexier without denying a good laugh.
