Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for Joker, directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix. Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) is a walking tragedy until he learns to smile through the pain, be it his own or that of his eventual victims.
Warner Bros. has also released a hi-res version of the teaser poster.
Joker is in theaters October 4.
