Somewhere in the multiverse, John Krasinski is wrapping up his tenure as Captain America in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. It almost happened in this universe, with Krasinski ultimately losing out on the role to Chris Evans. Fans have kept Krasinski in their minds for other Marvel Studios roles over the years and the Disney-Fox deal may provide the perfect one.
And Krasinski is up for it!
In a new interview for his directorial debut, A Quiet Place, Krasinski tells Screen Rant he would be happy to play Mr. Fantastic alongside his co-star (and wife), Emily Blunt, as the Invisible Woman.

I think Emily Blunt could handle a superhero role. John K, not really sure. Maybe. Havent sewn his John Ryan series yet so maybe I’m just type casting him as a softy/goofball. I like the guy, and would def give hima chance, but Mr Fantastic?
imho he doesnt really seem to be cut from the superhero cloth.

Neither is Mr. Fantastic, in movies so far anyway. Maybe he could be the one to finally nail the role. Great on the Office.
