Meanwhile, remember the Essex Corporation that was teased at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse? Well not only was New Mutants going to feature that mysterious company, but The Tracking Board has learned that Jon Hamm was originally going to appear as Mr. Sinister in a tag at the end of New Mutants, and Boone filmed material that led up to that reveal, only for Fox to change their minds after shooting had been completed. Now it’ll be Antonio Banderas playing an unspecified villain (one who isn’t expected to be Mr. Sinister) in the New Mutants tag. Additionally, Mr. Sinister wasn’t the only character Fox steered away from New Mutants, as Warlock appeared in early drafts of the script before the character was deemed too expensive.

older batman would be great if they were sticking with the original slate. But since they will probably want a batman trilogy and possibly several more JL movies, younger would be best. A shame though as I though an older batman opened the door to a lot of cool stories.

There does seem to be a complicated double standard, I mean RDJ is older and no one cares, BUT it’s because it’s been a progression. Wild guy to mentor in 9 years, now in this tenth year, he may begin to feel old, if he survives. Batman started off old. Now he can progress to taking the other members’ kids to the McDonald’s play place while he drinks coffee.

sine its been 10 years since the MCU started, RDJ was in his early 40s in Iron Man, and I think most are assuming he won;t be around much longer. Likely due to the events that will transpire in Infinity War. With Affleck though, he signed up for essentially 4 movies. BvS, JL1, JL2, and the Batman. That was going to be his run as the character. But now the plans have changed and its likely no longer what he signed up for.

To begin with, sure, but I’m sure they all knew he would most likely do more – that’s how superhero movie franchises work.
All it takes is to not be fat. Then the suits and makeup and stunt doubles can do all the rest of the work.
