1:13:00 lol, Wonder Woman fans make me bore, they don’t want character to feel, to change, be traumatized and by the end be re-inspired (and yes, by straight white man, what’s wrong with that, since she was inspired by Steve Trevor in the first place).
This is major “flaw” of DCEU, because audience just want superhero movies to be shallow and pandering to their fanboyizm, unless it is Wolverine who suffers ALL X-Men films. I am glad DC weren’t chicken shit and Gal Gadot’s words were just words. I hope they will continue to be brave and continue to tell stories with real characters, not one-dimensional “dude, dance-off LMAO, hehe Ass-Gard lol”.
Your pros and cons regarding this movie are very similar to mine. I enjoyed this movie A LOT but it did have minor flaws as expected with any movie. I’m sorry but the girl in this video is just too annoying for my taste..
I was happy in the beginning knowing that Sean enjoyed JL better than BvS but then the guys decide to say a ‘butt’ shot is now out of line? I get with what is going on in Hollywood being mindful, but this wasn’t ‘Sucker Punch’? And then the time that is spent on Superman’s return. That was a fun time and cheesy or not, when Superman asks Batman about if he bleeds..that was funny. You don’t like it fine, but the time spent to justify why it was good or wrong just went on and that took me out of the review. Bummer.
I do not wish to be disrespectful of your efforts, but these reviews need to be much more concise. When you first started your review you all were much more enthusiastic about this movie than you were by the end. The problem is you spent so much time over-analyzing the movie.
The problem with this is when you discuss any subject in such detail, Human nature tends to focus more on the negative than the positive. Simply put people are more prone to share a complaint than to share a praise. I am sure that if you revisit your review, you will all see that you spent significantly more time scrutinizing each individual negative aspect than you did on each individual positive aspect. Now sometimes that is justified, but often the issue is just over discussed.
Because of this by the end of your review all your enthusiasm and energy for the movie was lost, not only for yourselves but for your audience.
I would suggest that the length of your reviews go from 30-45 minutes, with some planned talking points being moderated to avoid too much time spent covering the same or similar points.
