This is so sad. Why do “fans” have to give *fans* such a bad reputation?

She needs to grow the fuck up. Fans weren’t mad because she was fucking Asian, we’re mad because her character was useless, annoying, and played poorly. Just saying that you won’t let yourself be criticized doesn’t mean it’s true, she already withdrew for social media, whether intending it or not, she’s sending the message that she’s giving into her critics, she doesn’t want to fight the criticism, and she’s letting it affect her.
