Concept art was shown at Comic-Con last July, but Marvel Studios was beaten to the punch by paparazzi for the first photos of Larson in costume. Studio president Kevin Feige is just fine with that.
As he tells Vulture, Feige and company were prepared for the inevitabilities that come with filming outside of a closed sound stage. He also addressed fan reactions to the suit having a different color scheme than what we’ve seen in the comics.
