Wow! I agree with almost every point of that. I understand what he was saying about Garfield, but that’s what the story called for, if they dropped the spy-parents storyline and got rid of ghost Capt Stacey, as he suggests, it would remove some of Garfield’s need to be that way
I would also add the performance of Martin Csokas’ performance as Dr. Kafka. It was like something from the Schumacher Batman days
