Hackers got into Sony Pictures’ network and stole over 100TB of private data at the end of November, and it’s slowly being leaked online. New emails obtained by The Wall Street Journal reveal that Sony and Marvel had discussions in October about a potential scenario that would see Marvel produce a new trilogy of Spider-Man movies while Sony retains “creative control, marketing and distribution”. The emails also revealed that Marvel wanted to include Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. Unfortunately, the two companies were unable to come to an agreement.
