One of the biggest surprises in the production announcement for Captain Marvel was the return of Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser. Ronan died in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), but with Captain Marvel being set a couple of decades prior, Marvel Studios found extra room in the timeline for the Kree zealot.

Captain Marvel has already completed principal photography and now Lee Pace is teasing his upcoming MCU return on social media.
