By now you’re probably just returning from a screening of Logan. What did you think of Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine? This is the best place to discuss the movie with the Superhero News community!

Deadpool and Logan. 2 R-rated films that are going to be hits and give the genre a much needed kick up it’s backside. Continuity isn’t the be all and end all and this once again proves it.

As much as I love the “it’s all connected” universe thing, while it can be cool I think it more often than not causes more harm than good. It places too many restrictions on single films and doesn’t let them be there own thing.
Notice how all the comic book movies or shows regarded as the best are either not part of a big connected universe or if they are they are loosely tied in. Dark Knight Trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy, Netflix Daredevil, Deadpool, Spider-Man 2, Logan, etc.
Continuity and connected films are great, but ultimately it’s more important to have stronger movies than a stronger universe.

The decision to eat and sleep over the family’s house, while knowing that they’re being tracked, was a pretty big flaw in the script. Charles and Logan shouldn’t have been that dumb and reckless. I would’ve removed that, and had Charles and Logan interact more, and perhaps be less vague about the X-Men. The movie is a little TOO standalone. But still awesome. And with all of these comic book movies scoring over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, The Dark Knight should at least be at 99%. 94% is way too low, if compared to the other ones. The critics should re-review the movie, and give if it the critical rating it deserves and needs right now. 😄
Lol
When did critical ratings become so important? Oh wait they aren’t.

Point of the movie. Logan was exasperated the entire movie, and Xavier’s requests weighed on him

Perfect…a poetic ending! Enough said…

Ha…you should go see it THEN write your thoughts

I loved the movie, but X-24 screwed it up for me a little. Could have used better intro. Also, the bullet should have killed both of them, More fitting.

Really didn’t enjoy it. DOFP is still my favourite X Men movie. Each to their own though.
YGtrece
Right! Interesting…I had a hard time staying tuned in to DOFP

That why I said each to their own. We all love different things and have different views and opinions on whatever movie we watch.

It was great. A few nitpicks here and there most of them either timeline-related or the unnecessary nudity and excessive language (I’m fine with plenty of F-bombs in the movie, but it overdid it) but overall a solid 8/10. The actors were all fantastic. The action scenes were amazing. The story was very solid. There were a couple tear-jerker moments. DoFP was my favorite until this point, but now it has been dethroned by Logan.
