The show is AMAZING! I’m in the middle of ep10. Episode 2 was MAD weak, but after Cottonmouth turned up on niggaz, The show hits SO RIGHT!

I’m only on episode 5 so I’ll high tail it out of here before spoilers roll in but I really like it thus far? I feel like Luke is a compelling character, but my favourite character is Misty so far by a long shot. I keep thinking about how he’ll interact with Daredevil. As a black woman, I’m kind of in awe of how it addresses black issues and is so unapologetic about it. Its getting into wrongful conviction and themes pertaining to innocence, and poverty… There’s alot to unpack. I’m glad Marvel made a show with such respect to its protagonist.
However some references to the MCU feel really forced and unnecessary.

I think it’s great; however, some of the writing feels very forced and cheap. I think the villains were alright, and some of the acting could definitely use work as well. While watching the first few episodes I had to try and figure out where the show took place (before/after Jessica Jones), and I had to look it up. They almost pretend that none of it happened. The ending didn’t help it feel like its own story; like it had to be finished another time. I didn’t like that. I know it sounds like I hated the show, I don’t, but it needed a lot of convenience in it for some things to work.

Overall, I thought it was decent, but the plot is pretty weak, the set pieces weren’t as good as DD or JJ and some of the acting was poor, (especially Diamond Back who was chewing the furniture)
It’s another good chapter to the Marvel/Netflix universe, but for me, it’s the weakest

I’m getting ready to start episode four and Its been pretty good so far. I like how all the series feel similar but are so much different n the filming and everything but there’s definitely things they could do better in the action scenes. How bangin is misty knight tho!! Gosh damn when she took off her dress I think my meat flopped straight into my hand lmao and it was cool when she was ballin n she pointed out her star like mfa I ran shit too lil homie! Cottonmouth is a beast man I really like him so far when he said now go out there and get me my money! I hopped up shuffled my feet like Muhammad Ali threw bout seven uppercuts and said these mfas don’t know!!

7 out of 10. The villain is pretty crap. Some of the acting is atrocious and the fighting is horrid in most parts. The story is pretty good though.

I frickin’ LOVED it. Not going to give any spoilers away, but the ending was perfect.

Haven’t watched it and I don’t intend to, the character just doesn’t interest me, but from what I’ve read on numerous sites not all though is the show doesn’t live up to Daredevil or Jessica Jones level and a few stopped watching midway through the season.
That’s just a small sample of what I’ve read though.-

I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1. Great acting and musical talent, and the series was gritty and as realistic as a movie of this genre could be. Loved the subtle Diff’rent Strokes joke.

I really enjoyed the series. The different perspective was so refreshing! I thought they weaved the entertainment and cultural aspects together in a satisfying manner. I enjoyed the villains. What I respected most about the series is that they showed both the positive and negative aspects of the main characters, which added interesting complexity.

I’m I taking crazy pills? I wanted so bad to love this show,I did. But the acting sucked ass, the story was all over the place, and at times this show was very racists to both black and white people.
