Black Panther was a three-time winner at last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards. The Marvel Studios’ film took home the awards for production design (Hannah Beachler and Jay Hart), costume design (Ruth E. Carter), and visual effects.

It is all political. They had to give Black Panther something. Since the “serious” awards are off the table, they decided to go with the technical ones.
I wouldn’t have given Black Panther the costume design award either.

Visual effects? Are they having a bloody laugh or something? That last 3rd was appalling effects wise, hell the bloody CW does better effects for The Flash then what we saw with Panther vs Kilmonger. Sure the film did have some visual highs but that final 3rd is enough to say it shouldn’t have even been considered for a Nomination yet alone winning it.
