Another major villain has now joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. According to Deadline, Michael Chernus has been cast as Phineas Mason, The Tinkerer! Chernus can be seen in various films such as Captain Phillips and Aloha, in addition to the hit show Orange is the New Black. Michael recently just finished up his work on The Most Hated Woman in America, a Netflix drama.

YES!!!! This now means that Keaton has to be playing Norman Osborn. Keaton originally didn’t want to be in Spider-Man because of the fact that Marvel probably wanted him to be the tinkerer or possibly the Vulture and turned it down. Then they came back with the Osborn offer because that means a multi picture deal. This is amazing news.

I know that. Vulture was confirmed a long time ago. Still haven’t announced who’s playing him but after the comic con footage, it was said to probably not be Keaton. So if he ends up being announced as Osborn, we’re in for quite a role for Keaton
