There’s nothing like a holiday weekend for delivering bad news in the entertainment industry. Netflix has canceled its last two remaining series from Marvel Television. Jessica Jones and The Punisher both got the ax today.
The news is far from shocking. This is the period on the end of a sentence that Netflix started writing last October. The streaming giant canceled Iron Fist and Luke Cage within a week of each other, followed by Daredevil in November.

They probably did it cause they were giving Marvel way too much money and it wasn’t worth it anymore.

I thought Punisher was second best after DareDevil. That said all the Netflix shows seemed to want to run as far from the comics as possible. Such a sad waste of talented people. Watching the last season of Punisher was just so frustrating. Bernthal is a perfect Punisher but they won’t let him do his thing. I would bet he threw more punches than he pulled a trigger.
If you don’t like SuperHeros then don’t make SuperHero shows. Please.

Daredevil was a lot like the comics, it was quite amazing how much they pulled from Born Again for S3.

Yes it was. Costume. Secret Id. The feel of the show was spot on. Although I have to admit S3 was a little disappointing without him ever properly suiting up. If there was a S4 then it would have been ok but as it is we are left in a kinda sad place.
Season 2 remains the one I have watched the most and will continue to do so in the future.
