I really think the Affleck suit was better than this.

it was the silly grin the Affleck always had that made it look bad. if he’s going to make Batman look good he needs to keep his mouth closed or we’ll get another suit but looks like crap

I think people really forgot how stupid Affleck’s suit was.
He’s playing one of the most agile characters in all of comics, and he had NO mobility whatsoever. It was so bad they had to CGI him so he could look mobile. That’s suit was horrible. This is not gonna be his final suit. He’ll get the double D’s later on and they’ll likely upgrade the mask for ascetic perpases.

They don’t need to nor do I think they are gonna put the double D’s on it. It’s fine the way it is.

Well you gotta remember, the costume was created before he got the name Dardevil and Melvin (the creater of the suit) also said it wasn’t finished yet. I definitely think they’ll add the double D’s

I don’t think the lack of DD is a problem, it’s that goofy mask.

It should have a devilish look. This looks functional but lacks the essence of the devil. I just hope they upgrade it.

Marvel is known to constantly upgrade and change their costumes. Also, Melvin said it wasn’t finished. Another thing is, Cox was trying to hide a huge smile on his face. He couldn’t help it, it was the first time he wore the costume, and you can definitely tell he was trying not to smile. I’m not worried about it dude.

Well, would you rather they stayed 100% true to the comic and gave us the yellow suit? Obviously, whenever a comic book is adapted for film or tv, not everybody is going to be totally satisfied with everything. At this stage, I think the suit is great. I agree the mask could look a little better, but overall, it’s the first season, and I can only imagine there will be adjustments made as the show progresses. Thumbs up so far from me. :)
