Netflix on Wednesday dropped the first look at its star, Henry Cavill, in action as Geralt of Rivia, the iconic character at the center of the upcoming fantasy series. The eight-episode drama, based on the best-selling book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, is described as an epic tale of fate and family. The first look comes as production is set to begin in Hungary.
How? That’s obviously test footage where they put a wig on Henry Cavill and gave him black clothes to see what he WOULD look like as Geralt. It’s test footage of HOW HE GOT THE PART! Look at his eyebrows. They don’t match with the hair. This is too hastely done to be anything but test footage.

Yeah… you literally made all that up. Wanna guess how many times “test footage” is mentioned in the above article? Oh right, ZERO. Furthermore, this was shot October 24 2018 (it’s shown in the video), just a damn WEEK ago (they are just about to begin production). The casting was made public early September. Case in point, you’re an idiot and are lying to yourself and others to justify your temper tantrum. If it makes you feel any better, I’m still looking forward to it, but the fact remains, that wig is fucking awful.

Looks too clean, more like an elf from one of the Lord Of The Rings movies. we should probably wait to look at the final product but as it stands the guy from the early 2000’s polish TV series looks more like Geralt.

The same thing was said with Starfire in Titans after the first images leaked and… Well, she looks exactly the same. Any way, this is not Warner/Dc… honestly I don’t think that the looks will change to much.

Those were set imagines not tests, it wasn’t supposed to change. If it doesn’t change, it’s too bad this show isn’t set with the first stories and books when Geralt is younger and building his back story which were set between the times when he became a Witcher to first finding Ciri… wait…

With the Titans thing, the actress herself said that she felt sorry because an image of an undone looks was leaked. The Joaquín Phoenix Joker began as a screen test too, with the idea that that look will not being the definitive one… and well… there are videos of the production were he looks exactly as in the screen test. About the books I haven’t read them (I wanna do it soon) but I know a couple of things… Like the fact that he doesn’t like to have a beard and is scar-less… Anyway he still looking too clean with a lot of pretty boy vibes.
