Wow!!! I cant wait that was so dope!
black panther is op
Leaping from car to car is quite a modus operandi! An insurance agency could specialize in Panther-related damage.
“Black Panther leap on your car on your way to work? Call us now at 800-PANTHED, because you could be entitled to part of the Wakandan class action settlement.”
They’ve done a piss poor job making clear this takes place in Africa. From the music, to the actors, to the tone… This feels more like a technologically advanced Harlem, than a highly advanced African country. As someone who’s actually been to mid-Africa and loved every second of it, this movie just horrendously fails to give you that vibe. Then again, this is made by a black American who’s probably never been to Africa, so what do I know right?
The thing is though, if Africa had the technology that western countries have, they would be very much like us! Therefore I feel the setting is perfect, expecially since the culture seems to be present in almost every costume besides the Black Panther’s suite.
Why would you even expect them to live differently if they have the world’s most advanced technology available to them?!?
I’m not talking about moral or civil development. I’m talking about culture and tradition. This garbage “gangster rap” music has nothing to do with African culture, advanced or otherwise. And I’m sorry, but Michael B Jordan doesn’t look right in this movie at all.
I also doubt that if Africa had the tech, they would supposedly be “very much like is”. Africa really isn’t as technologically primitive as people think. They have pretty much everything the West has. Only to a lesser extent. Yet the cultural differences still remain completely undeniable.
Gotta say as often as i disagree w u… i kind of agree w u here. Honestly. No offense intended or anything.
Hahahaha. I still don’t get you. I’m not here to be liked. Obviously, I try not to act like a douche 24/7, but sometimes you reply saying I’m a hater, and at other times I see you upvoting my comments out of nowhere, like did I suddenly not become a hater? No offence taken btw.
cause sometimes ur a douche bag and sometimes you have very good points! lol i like how you put i’m not here to be liked.. bahha you lil bitch!
Sometimes I am… but I do feel like people get away with being condescending pricks way more often if they’re on the “pro-DCEU” side. Frankly, in comparison to a lot of other people, I’m not even that bad, lol.
saying that its “gangster rap” is just ridiculous.. now i don’t really care for the music either and i thought the trailer was one of the worst marvel has put out in a while and its kind of confusing you see all these different suits and shit soo idk just have to wait till the movie cause i have alot of trust in coogler
Is it not? It’s typical rap trash. I don’t “hate” rap. I quite enjoy rap from the late 90s and the 2000s. My point is it doesn’t fit this movie at all.
I agree. You know it’s wrong when even BET made sure that the Black Panther had African music, and had Wakanda still look like it takes place in Africa.
Pretty damn awesome… most interested i think ive been for an MCU film.
but let me guess you loved bvs?! lmao
Black panther>batman
Well at least Ben Affleck’s Batman for sure. Hahaha
Y’know I wondered about some of that in Civil War. Panther was running as fast as the cars were driving in the chase scene with Cap, Bucky, Falcon and him and I found that incredibly unrealistic. But it seems this film will explain why that happened. I’m excited for this!!
