If i watch this movie, I’ll watch it for Spider-Man..but is it me or does he look a little too CGI?
Yep I agree
Totally agree… Looks like he doesn’t belong. Hope it’s early on CGI.
I hope so. The movie comes out in May, and the tickets are already on sale, so that means this is most likely the last trailer. And also, after all that dramatic music, did the last part seem a little comedic? I mean they ARE going to war with each other, but the atmosphere felt wierdly non-dramatic…
no way man, they would’ve finished everything by now.
But if I know that I want to reveal a character in a trailer, two month before the movie comes out, why then not work on that particular shot I wanna use first???
Yeah the eyes moving are pretty cool, it reminded me of the animated series. I’m just hoping the whole suit isn’t CGI, cause that would suck, imo.
It makes me think they just saw Deadpool and went “OH FUCK LET’S DO THAT!”
And it looks like lenses that adjust, rather than Deadpool’s eyes that just show emotion through the suit.
Do you think people who work for marvel didnt know about deadpool before the movie? And his eyes moved in his earlier comics and animated series. Not to mention that this scenes were filmed long ago.
When it was filmed is irrelevent when the movement is CG. His eyes never moved in the previous films and now it is after Deadpool made it work.
Yeah totally, it’s not like Spider-Man’s eyes move in the comics, or that his previous movie incarnations aren’t in anyway related.
He looks like a cartoon. I mean I’m glad to just see Spider-Man and I’m very glad he finally gets to join the rest of the MCU. But yeah, his costume is like crayola crown red and his eyes look a little dopey.
You guys should stop worrying. This is just his first costume. He will probably have a perfect costume in his movie
The thing is, I’m not doubting the fact that he might change costumes is the movies, like in the comics, but what I’m saying is that I dont want the entire suit to be CGI, it takes away some of the appeal for me. But, if they use CGI extremely well, and we don’t notice it..I’m fine with that too.
He looks like a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon
Exactly.
Trailer looks great. I am sure they will touch up Spiderman in post production
They have like, less than two months.
Yes! This trailer looks awesome. So glad the Russo Brothers are taking over Avengers. I love the darker and grittier take. Loved the trailer but holy fuck does that CGI on Spider-Man look bad or what? Hope it’s fixed.
And isnt “dark and gritty” what everyone bitches about DC being too much of? Looks like Marvel realized their formulas gotten stale and theyre tryna rip off DC. Just my opinion tho… :/
Last time I saw a darker and grittier mood from a trailer of a Marvel movie was Age of Ultron. And look how that movie turned out to be. Not saying that there won’t be a difference with Russo’s directing…. But I know better now.
Fool me once…
I would agree if Whedon was directing. But just as Whedon lost my trust after the first Avengers, The Russo brothers gained my trust with the Winter Soldier.
I doubt kids would understand anything about government regulation. And aside from the Spider-Man part, I saw nothing but a serious tone. I am one of the biggest critics when it comes to the MCU’s comedic take on their movies. But the Russo brothers have proved that they are not scared to move into darker territory and this trailer showed me just that. If you did not like this trailer then that’s cool, but I loved it.
Funny, I don’t remember any government regulations or internal struggle over a lethal assassin in Finding Nemo. I must have seen another Finding Nemo movie then..
The movie is called Civil War. By its definition it’s an internal struggle. You know, the reason I hate visiting other websites is because as a DC fan, every time I go to a BvS article, I get attacked by Marvel fanboys just because I think BvS is going to be amazing. Sad to see that DC fanboys do the same on this website. If you don’t agree with my opinion then that’s fine. Relax, breathe. Seriously, you’re a fucking embarrassment to me as a DC fan myself.
Not what Civil War means? Do you know what Civil War even is? It’s internal conflict and struggle between citizens of the same country, literally.
Don’t call myself a DC fan? Kid, get the hell out of here. I have been a member of both Batman-News and Superhero-news since before you even decided to step foot in here. I am very well known on the Batman-news forum as one of the biggest DC fans and more importantly, the biggest Superman fan on the entire forum.
Go ahead and check my comment history before you continue to make a fool out of yourself any further. The last month I have been arguing with the same Marvel fanboy who does nothing but come here to bash BvS. Everyone knows how much I disliked both the Avengers films and every other film in the MCU except Winter Soldier and the first Iron Man. Get the fuck out of here. You’re embarrassing yourself at this point.
I’ve read and own more DC comics than you’ve wiped your ass in the last 10 years. And you call me a kid when you do nothing but display that childish behavior? Don’t make me laugh.
Ah, I see now. I am sorry, I did not notice you were a troll. I was starting to wonder why you were replying like a teenager. And it’s okay. Call me a Marvel fanboy all you want. You’re alone with that false accusation. Everyone here and on Batman-news knows I am one of the biggest DC fans. You on the other hand.. who are you again? Does anyone even know you? Never seen you around here. Must be another newbie. Anyways, your false accusations are petty at best. I don’t waste time with trolls so knock yourself out with the memes and pictures. Have fun, buddy.
Dint ya know anyone who has an opposing viewpoint is a troll?! Geez get it together man! Hahaha! Its hilarious how serious people take this stuff.
Oh man, i have got MAD FUCKIN BEEF with Atomic man at Batman news. Dude hes such a self righteous dick and he pisses me off so damn much. Then he acts like im crazy and he doesn’t know what im talking about. Fuck that guy in his ass! Jaysus!!! God i hate the Internet. U cant have an opinion u know! Haha Fuck that.
Hahaha!!!
The definition of Civil war is a war fought between citizens of the same country. Its not some great metaphor.
And why are they fighting? Over an internal struggle. In the United States it was over the internal conflict of slaves.
Hehehe ok dude. U win. I could really give a fuck.
It’s not about winning. It’s just common sense. I mean, I really don’t see how a Civil War is NOT an internal struggle. It’s literally an internal struggle between citizens of the same nation.
Because youre lookin for some deeper metaphor that isnt there.
It is there though.. it’s in the title as a matter of fact. And not once did I say it’s “deep”. It’s about as simple as it can get.
Ok ur just making shit up to win some pointless argument. Again, dont care. Bye.
As I stated in my last response: I never said it was some “deep” meaning. So if anyone is making stuff up, it’s you. As you wish though, have a good day!
Ok dude. Its so important to u obviously. U win. Fucking loser.
You’re throwing a teenage tantrum over a non-existent argument. Looks like I’m not the one that is the loser..
Gotta get that proverbial last word in huh?
Proverbial last word? I am just having a discussion. You’re the one throwing a tantrum for no reason. But alas, if that’s what you desperately seek, then you can have it. I will stop responding. I don’t quarrel with people who do nothing but insult and act childish over a simple topic of discussion. Take care.
Throwing a tantrum? Sir i dont give a shit. And besides u were the one that started ‘throwing a tantrum’ bc ur definition of civil war was wrong ass bullshit. U bore me dude. Get over it. Move on.
Dude… U r such a moron. Whatever. U win the internet. Cant argue w stupid.
dude wtf you doing? Alex Vidal is one of us, he, Vish, Thea, kalelofkrpton all are part of the ones who fight off the stupid marveltards when they come here with their bullshit. So wtf sre you doing attacking one of our own? Alex is a bigger DC fan than you’ll ever be
LOLOLOLOLOL!! Wtf are you talking about?!! He respected your opinion!! He clearly said that if you had a different opinion then that was okay!! You’re the one that kept fucking bashing his opinion and not respecting it by calling him a kid!! LMFAO!! Yoire the only one that had a problem with his opinion and acted like a little kid about it!! So why not follow your own advice and ignore his comment if you don’t agree with his opinion?!? LOL! You’re the only troll and should be the only one that shouldn’t call yourself a DC fan you kiddie troll!!
Bahahahaha oh my, this is hilarious!! Typical troll response. Way to prove me right by responding like an angry teenager!! LMFAO!! Oh I can’t breathe.. Take care kiddo, when you decide to answer like an adult instead of crying like a baby and insulting those who have a different opinion.. then call me! Until then, ima ignore your ass
The fact that your “insult” consisted of the same overused sentence to BOTH Alex Vidal and Marvel Troll proves that you’re just an idiot.
So? I hate marvel too but I’m not a dick about it. And yea, you can “think” I’m an idiot all you want but there is nothing to back up that statement. Therefor it’s false. You on the other hand? Anyone reading your child-like responses can see that you are indeed an idiot. But alas, I don’t argue with children.
And if anyone else is reading this, I would like to say that not all of us DC fans are rude idiots like this guy. I apologize to everyone on behalf of this moron. Thank you all!
I’m not apologizing to you. I’m apologizing on behalf of you. Try reading next time. But I’ll go ahead and ask the obvious question. That’s three people you have harassed and insulted now with childish responses. So how exactly am I or any of the other three the child?
Are you incapable of having a normal adult conversation?
Do you have to insult everyone who has a different opinion?
You seemed troubled, you need mental help. If you had or have a rough childhood then I’m here to help in case you need someone to talk to.
Uh, yea sure. You can have your “win”. It isn’t a winning contest for me. And yes, I do have to apologize on your behalf. Why? Because no one is saying anything about your opinion. You can have any opinion you want. We are not disrespecting your opinion. You on the other hand are disrespecting everyone’s opinion and harassing/insulting them. And you can say we are not DC fans all you want but the truth is, that’s three DC fans that don’t want to be associated with you and that what your behavior causes. So again, if you need help or a friend to talk to, I’m here to help.
The true DC fans you say? Where are they? I don’t see anyone coming in to defend you. No one wants to be associated with you. On the other hand, two DC fans (doesn’t matter how much you say we aren’t) have defended Alex. Again, thats what your behavior causes. So once again, if you want someone to talk to then let me know. I’m here for you.
Is that your only “comeback”? If you can even call it one. You have nothing to back it up. Where as I have more than enough to back up the FACT that we are DC fans. Alex.. Well all you need to do is look at his profile. He has DC written all over him. His only flaw is that he is a superman fanboy (team Batman all the way). Marvel Troll.. You kidding me? That chick is always bashing marvel. Everyone and their mother knows that. You’re either new to the website or terribly misinformed. Me? I’ve gotten banned for talking shit about civil war. But you’re avoiding the question, desperately I might add, where are these so called “true DC fans”? Why aren’t they defending you? Why are the DC fans only defending Alex? Oh wait, let me guess.. “YOURE NOT A DC FAN! GO WATCH YOUR DISNEY MOVIE!!”
So predictable.
Then it’s as I suspected. You’re in denial.
More false and childish insults. Not only are you in denial, you’re also insecure of yourself.
Even more childish insults. Further proving signs of insecurity.
Yikes. Even more elementary level “insults”. Not helping your case, kid.
Oh the irony. Only someone who feels the need to insult people has issues.
Indeed it is, as proven by your comments.
I’ve been replying calmly. As anyone can see, you’re the only one ranting and insulting.
So much for “not replying”. Even more signs of your insecurities.
A picture is still a response. Still proving me right.
This kid said he would stop replying but is burns him that he can’t have the “final word”. This is hilarious. Keep going.
Oh the irony. Keep going. This is gold.
Still proving me correct.
You’ve said you “wouldn’t reply” already. Your childish ego clearly doesn’t allow it. That’s why you keep crawling back.
So much for “not replying”. Your insecurities are amusing.
I never said I would stop replying. You on the other hand, said it twice. Yet here you are crawling back once again. It burns that you can’t have the last word doesn’t it? This is comedic gold.
You don’t have the last word of i’m still replying. And it burns you that you can’t have it.
Your backwards mind not being able to grasp the basic meaning of “last word” only further proves my point.
one thing is certain this is definitely a sequel to captain america 2 and spiritual sequel to al mcu movies .This movie is certainly giving the title civil war a huge weight .the trailer itself is showing the huge magnitude of the movie’s influence on MCU .The new spiderman suit certainly grow on you after each viewing
The whole “consquences of the destruction caused by powerful people” seems like a recurring theme in both CW and BvS, but judging by the trailers, it seems BvS has a bit more gravity to the situation, whereas CW, with the spidey reveal, seemed a little forced. I think if they had kept spiderman hidden, it would’ve felt like a better trailer.
Hella CGI looking. But I’m hoping that he ends up kinda being touched up. I would like to have seen Spiderman done the way Deadpool was, Deadpool face worked really well and the suit was a real suit… Be crazy if he’s wearing a real suit and we are all like it’s CGI, when it isn’t. I doubt that’s a real suit tho
I liked the trailer, and it got me a bit more excited for the movie. The action sequences look great. My only concerns are how Spider-Man will fit into all this, because he feels a little out of place currently, coming out of nowhere and second, being I just can’t get it out of my mind feeling that they are taking a few notes from DC’s grittier universe and it’s “consequences”. Especially after seeing those shots of the different battles that have been taking place over the MCU timeline, such as the New York battle where it appears they are all of sudden showing people dying similar to the Metropolis battle. Like come on, there’s no need to switch up the formula. It just makes me feel as though MCU is getting a little nervous that DCEU is taking a more mature approach and so they’re now trying to follow suit.
I feel the same way. I mean, why did it take them four years to mention this? Why did it take them 6 movies or so to mention New York?
Just seems…. wrong to me. Too little, too late.
I like the trailer and the outfit, but that CGI is definitely unfinished.
I love the trailer! BLACK PANTHER IS SO HYPEDD! but i really am a little bit worried about spiderman looking CG and also that War Machine thing is very spoiler. I mean you really are going to show one of your character dieng? obviously that is what makes starks really angry? that is very spoiler like shot?
I feel like with the complaints about this Spidey CGI and the unfinished Doomsday, both Warner and Disney are making similar misteps in some people’s eyes.
Spiderman looks like a goddamn cartoon.
Damn CGI suit looks pretty terrible. A let down for me. He looks animated like he belongs in an animated film.
I’d like to analyze the timelines of the writing processes for BVS and Civil War. Because it seems oddly convenient that Marvel would so quickly follow BVS in making a movie that analyzes the consequences of superheroism — not to mention the “versus” aspect. I guess we’ll see who does it better… I have my guesses. I’ll also note that if BVS had revealed Aquaman in a trailer, we would have heard throngs of critics complaining online about them showing too much. CW reveals Spiderman and everyone is hyped.
BvS has been in development for the past three years. Since SDCC13. In production since 2014. Civil was was announced in October 2014, I think. I may be wrong though. But it was definitely after BvS.
I don’t think “everyone is hyped”
I’ve read just as much, if not more, negative on this one than positive.
That Spider-Teen thing looked bad and sounded worse.
JMO
Yeah, good point. I was referring more to the media than to commenters on those sites, but it is a valid point!
k kid
The best source to figure it out is Youtube. Its comment sections and upvote/downvote ratio. And, yeah, this trailer is doing well on Youtube.
On the other hand, it’s the first day of ticket sales, and they are in the toilet!

BvS was definitely in production before Civil War was announced. But I do believe Civil War was a piece Marvel was planning to play for a very long time. The Russos had it in mind back when TWS was out early 2014, and Age of Ultron was a clear set up for Civil War too. I mean all the other destructive events like Loki’s attack on New York, and the Washington DC battle were not initiated by the Avengers, and up till TWS, the Avengers did have government oversight, through SHIELD. AoU was the first event caused by the Avengers themselves, with zero oversight. So the timing of Civil War kind of makes sense.
Not to mention, there were rumors of an Avengers: Civil War after the 1st Avengers movie in 2012, until AoU was officially announced, dispelling those rumors, but reinforcing that Civil War was a play that was in contention for a while.
So apparently lives don’t matter just because government has oversight for it? The collateral damage amounts to nothing? I don’t understand how people spent the rest of the movie celebrating after the destruction that was caused, and no one mentioned it for the next four years, through about 6 movies. Despite the Netflix series showing that for normal humans, livelihood was destroyed. The Avengers didn’t care. SHIELD didn’t care. Now everyone cares?
Also, in TWS, SHIELD was already compromised. So your argument there is invalid. Even before AoU, Tony claimed that he was the one who would fund the Avengers.
You’re right, lives were lost in the Battle of New York. But you have to consider this one basic idea; is the alternative better? First of all, the Avengers Initiative was a government initiative. These heroes were brought together to fight by the government, so the government has no reason to hold the Avengers accountable, the same way the government doesn’t hold special ops accountable for co-lateral damage while fighting the enemy.
Now, in a world where The Avengers didn’t fight against Loki, Loki would go unopposed and simply take over the whole world, so the co-lateral damage that takes place in New York for the sake of the ENTIRE WORLD, is “tolerated” and understood by most of the world population in the MCU. Of course many were still afraid of the Avengers capabilities, but most understood that things would have been worse, had the Avengers been absent.
You’re right about the lack of government oversight in TWS, since SHIELD was the organisation in place to act as liason with the government. Which is why Avengers related to the events of TWS, including Black Widow, were being assessed by the court/some form of legal proceeding as to whether they had a hand in the CAUSE for the event. Clearly, the events of TWS would have proceeded anyway even with the absence of any Avengers, and Hydra would have simply taken over the world. So, once again, although the events are devastating and troubling, the Avengers appear to be deterrents to these events rather than catalysts, meaning they seem to stop these things from getting worse than they possibly could be, rather than making it worse or causing them in the first place.
But there has been one important feature to all these events; NONE of them have been CAUSED by the Avengers. But this is where things get dangerous. The government believes that they need the Avengers for any such future events, and the Avengers track record of preventing catastrophes has been great. So what does the government do? They let Cap and Black Widow walk free, with hesitance of course, but realizing it might be better than the alternative.
Then AoU happens. An event that nearly wiped out an entire population. An event CAUSED by the Avengers. This is new, and NOW the government has “reasonable doubt” per se, to enforce a much more restricting and policing system. This is the new development we will see in Civil War.
So, it’s not that nobody cared about loss of life before and NOW suddenly they do care. The Avengers were never viewed as a problem before. Until NOW.
And I don’t know if that’s true, maybe Tony helped with funds for the Avengers before AoU. Regardless, he had no official control over the Avengers until after TWS.
Alright.Agreed.
I’ll accept your stance on that. Let’s hope this turns out to be a good movie, then.
Come on guy, it’s in the plot summary:
‘One year after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, another international incident involving the Avengers resulting in collateral damage occurs, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the team.’
Let’s not start debating plot points based simply on what’s shown in a trailer.
Great trailer, but that suit…. The Amazing Spider-Man suit was 10x better.
My thoughts exactly. I don’t think it was possible to top that suit.
You left AT LEAST one zero out.
Oh wait, so the Sokovia thing that happened, while they were talking about kitchen remodeling, is actually a bad thing? You wouldn’t know when watching AoU.
It’s always funny seeing reactions to practically anything MCU related on this site – the majority of you don’t hide your fanboyism well.
Why would I try?
I think the MCU is kiddie crap, has been ever since Disney took over, with only a (very) few exceptions.
So what? Am I supposed to pretend like that ISN’T my opinion?
And it’s REVERSE fanboyism anyway, I don’t dislike it because I like something else more, I dislike it because Spider-Teen looked bad and sounded worse IMO.
The rest of the trailer was pretty good though.
Case and point.
You want some place you’ll feel at home? I can direct you—–>
http://www.themarysue.com/c…
They hate DC’s guts.
Seriously ? This is the most liked comment ? Forget fanboyism, this is borderline idiocy.
So just because you don’t agree with some people’s opinions it’s borderline idiocy? Did you read this comment before you posted it? How about instead of insulting people, write your contrasting opinion and leave it at that.
Many apologies, IN MY OPINION that comment is borderline idiocy.
The truth are these fanboys’ weakness.
They had 10+ movies before and i dont feel passion and emotions like i feal them in BvS 1. and 3. trailer
I’m with you there, Vegeta. I feel exactly the same way.
I don’t think anything has pumped like I am for BvS. Only 2 weeks!! By the way..
#TeamSupes!!!
you’re*
Geez, you’re still on that? Let it go. It’s sad how butthurt you are just because I liked the Civil War trailer. I stopped talking to you for a reason. I don’t deal with trolls. You’re harassing me at this point. Back off or I’m going to report you and get you banned. And even if they don’t ban you, I’m just going to ignore you at this point.
I don’t want to report you. I have never reported anyone. You did not respect my opinion, that’s okay. I just stopped talking to you and moved on but now you decided to attack me again out of no where. Just stop and I won’t report you.
Thank you and I am sorry if that other guy is attacking you but I just checked and he is not a friend of mine, I don’t know him.
The only one I know is Marvel Troll but it doesn’t look like she is the one you have a problem with
Why is Spider-Mans suit CGI?
I’m wondering the same thing myself.
Black Panthers suit kinda looks CGI too. The trailer was awesome and Im happy Spidey and BP are in the film. But Im a bit disappointed by the suits.
I’m onboard with Black Panther’s costume at the least.
Man I hope he actually has a real suit in the film.
😴😴😴
The DC envy is strong…
Could have fooled me.
Suit criticisms aside, I’m pretty excited to see Spider-Man in the MCU.
I’ll be honest…this has somewhat reinvigorated my excitement for the MCU
My reaction after this trailer was: “K.”
Idk, it just felt a little lackluster, the previous trailer had me jumping out of my seat. This one? I remain firmly seated. Even the Spidey reveal I thought was kind of mellow.
Black Panther scenes gave me chills though.
Maybe it’s with the release of BvS right around the corner, but this trailer just didn’t hype me up any more for the movie than I already was.
Great trailer but that CGI Deadpool thing the new Spider-Man suit has looks very fake and I don’t like the little spider symbol that looks like a beatle either, too bad. AMS2 had a much better costume as close to perfection as I’ve seen. Oh well…
Spiderman is supposed to sound like this you know. Or maybe you dont if you learned spiderman just from the movies.
Its not that i don’t like the look of spiderman (he looks badass), its something with the colour palette.
Here’s a HQ picture of the suit (open it up to see it properly).
I don’t like the eyes. I do not understand the purpose of the eyes. To show emotion? I love the costume. But I have a feeling like ik had with green lantern. Too much CGI
Oh ok so it’s not CG?
I don’t understand why some people think it’s CGI like Green lantern’s suit, to me it looks real, obviously the eyes are CGI like deadpool’s
CGI looks terrible, Black Panther looks awesome and I thought the first trailer was better.
Also the end bit where Spidey goes hey everybody reminded me of Dr. Nick in The Simpsons lol.
Serious tone, undersaturated bleak colors, theme of responsibility for destruction, big reveal at the end that looks questionable. I’m having a major case of deja vu.
Looks indeed like Batman v superman trailer 2 :p
First thing I thought to, it’s nearly exactly the same plot. WB/DC are looking pretty smart moving opening day up now, also I’m really not a fan of Spider-Man’s costume.
Lol this is what I think everyone who complains about great fx in every movie looks like
I still like it but it’s another CGI suit
If I were to guess, certain people’s opinions about the Green Lantern suit are about to change….
I’m sorry sir, but apart from the single “versus” aspect that both movies share, there’s nothing else in common between this trailer and the BvS trailers, at least not enough to say it’s a copy. And about it being lame, I can understand how you may feel that way, and I respect your opinion. I actually think it looks promising. I’ve enjoyed the ride Marvel has provided so far, especially when it comes to The Captain America trilogy, and with the Russo brothers at the helm of this movie, it’s highly unlikely that this movie will disappoint.
And just a disclaimer; this is from someone who has grown up with DC and would pledge allegiance to DC, if that were required. Thankfully I don’t need to do that, and I can enjoy both DC and Marvel movies, by their own merit. I urge you to do the same.
For someone who grew up w both they sure sound like a fanboy. Personally this had me a little excited after the first viewing… Then i watched it again. :/
Well, it’s not going to be as massive as the actual Civil War event from the comics, there’s no way they could do the source material justice in 2 and a half hours. The only reason civil war is in the title is for marketing purposes, to draw in a larger audience. I mean look what happened to “The Avengers: Age of Ultron”, that title was clearly overselling the movie compared to its comic book iteration, and that was a disappointment to many including me.
They just borrow a few story elements from the comics, and then just slap on the title from the comics, but it’s never going to be as big as it was in the comics, they’re just “adaptations”.
Absolutely! You are correct good sir.
I’ve learned to gauge my expectations when it comes to Marvel movies. It helps to gauge one’s expectations when it comes to pretty much anything really.
With Marvel movies, my expectations have always been determined by the bar that the MCU has set for itself with its track record, and if any movie they put out surpasses that bar, then I’m pleasantly surprised. If not, I’m not disappointed, cuz I didn’t expect them to make anything groundbreaking to begin with. Just another popcorn movie to fill the void while I wait for the DC gods to put out something great.
Exactly. Failure.
Not to mention theyre taking the same darker approach that every marvel fan saud was so terrible. But marvel jumps on boardand the same people are all YAY MARVEL!
For the last two and a half years, I have been counting down the days to BvS. With that has come an overall declining interest in the MCU. I will have to say though that this looks pretty badass. Not sold on Spider-Man’s look but i won’t pass judgement until I see him on the screen, in the finished movie.
Very very impressed by this trailer.
Love the trailer. Not sure if I wanted to see Spider Man already.. But I suppose that would mean he has little more than just a cameo. That’s great! And I love that this movie looks like it might be a little more serious than some of the previous movies, much like TWS. Looks good!
But that suit…. I hope they have more VFX work to do on Spidey. They definitely have time, so fingers crossed.
Lol I love the responses here. I’ve been following BvS since inception and have the seen the absolute worse from the Internet as far as criticisms go. Since then, I lose interest in MCU and have developed an elitist attitude that nothing is better than DC. I see this trailer, and actually LOVE it and I see the same type of criticisms BvS had. Strange world we live in…
Don’t be that guy/or girl, who judges everybody else. People are allowed to have their opinions and express them freely including criticising what they want to.
As long as they are not outright insulting other people who cares?
This site is always usually very good it’s only the articles about the MCU that tend to blow up.
I don’t think there’s any judgement in my comment at all. It’s an observation. Trust me, it has been hell getting through the wait for BvS. I guess it’s just kind of weird to see criticism for anything not BvS at this point. I’m sorry if it didn’t come across in the right way.
Isn’t it the popular belief that all of the near city or world ending destruction in the MCU can be traced back to Stark? I’m confused
Since my most anticipated movie is coming out in a few weeks, I’ll be nice n’ honest. That was weak. And why was Cap’s shield look smaller when spiderboy was holding it. Did the props crew make a smaller sized shield for the boy to make him look “bigger”?
The problem that I have with this film is that it’s a war between superheroes. Even though certain characters need to be responsible for their actions, this film has to have a distinctive winner and loser by the end.
Preach on brother, preach on!!! This movie is overloaded on super heroes, I dig the trailer but not overly hyped for this.. How many days till BvS again?!?!?!
Spider-Man is what I’m looking forward to most. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised everywhere else though
Damnnn dude, the dc fruitboys are out in full effect! It isn’t even very good trolling, no thought put in at all hah. I mean seriously, looking at this trailer, it’s irrefutable that the russo brothers have got the eye for superhero combat and action, as well as actually getting the different powers right. You can be hyped for bvs and still acknowledge this movie looks really good. The little nuances, like the scene with stark and Bucky fighting over the gun and it goes off, that looked amazing.
I don’t like that it seems to be painting cap as the bad guy, that’s weak.
The spidey suit looks bad, the actor playing spidey is a punk, but I’m sure sony will find a way to fu€k it up even worse when they do the solo film.
I’m a DC fan and in my opinion DC characters are far more complex and interesting than any Marvel character. This trailer was amazing though. I will go see this movie on opening weekend and I think Spider-Man’s suit is fine. It’s a trailer that people are probably watching on their 4″ phone screen.
I honestly didn’t like the suit at first but I’m really warming up to it.
where’s the reaction thoughhhhh?
My people of the internet diss iz my first comment n I’m a DC guy. But dis approach to spiderman with the thick dark tracings around da eyes n da cheese look. It’s paying homage to Steve Ditko’s 1960’s artwork dat brought Stan”The Man”Lee’s vision to life. Respect to marvel n RIP to Steve Ditko
I’m guessing someone will die. And then they’d be revived along with Quicksilver by the time gem or some shit in Infinity War.
For the robo suit of batman they mostly used CGI. Like this version of spiderman.
Lol. I just said that elsewhere. I see absolutely no point in contracting lenses for eyes. It’s supposed to be a self-made suit. Why would he even bother?
