Noah Hawley excited fans with one word at Comic-Con last year. The man behind the hit Marvel series Legion simply said, “Doom,” and that was enough to spark speculative dreams about a movie based on Marvel Comics’ most popular villain (sorry, Thanos). That project is now in limbo thanks to Hawley’s busy schedule and the Disney-Fox deal.
