Fred Savage can knock Fox-Marvel all he wants, but he’d better not dare come for Nickelback. In the latest Once Upon a Deadpool teaser, Wade Wilson is here to remind Savage of the successful rock group that Nickelback really is.

Raimi’s 2 Spider-man movies eclipse all of the solo Spidey films since. In the MCU, I think he’s been best written in Civil War.
I’ll take your word on Into the Spider-Verse. I have no interest in seeing it.
I never read Morales. I didn’t read Ultimate Spider-man, to be honest. I think Bendis is overrated. The little I did read (along with the bits of New Avengers) I found Spidey to be annoying.
I’m kinda old school (or at least back to the 80s stuff) where Pete had the old Parker luck & struggled. I’ve heard he’s wealthy now & basically like Stark.
I’m pretty indifferent about Morales, though I hate when it feels like he’s being rammed down your throat. And using the “you don’t like Morales because he’s not Caucasian” crap always bothers me. It’s low hanging fruit used to belittle & dismiss your opposing opinion. Maybe you just don’t find him interesting as a character.
I did dig Miguel O’Hara back when the 2099 line came out. I understand, like Bane, he’s of a mixed race heavily bleached through “whitewashing.” (I’m rereading the Knightfall trilogy & forgot how little he actually comes off as Hispanic). I just thought the idea of Miguel was pretty cool (at least the first 2/3rd of the run).
Yeah, I didn’t read the issues, but I heard that’s what Slott did with the character.
I remember a lot of that stuff in the 90s. The Clone Saga started with such promise, but the marketing department took over and made it last way too long. It’s quite lengthy, but this was a great read on the behind the scenes: http://www.benreillytribute…
I disagreed with bring Osborn back. I thought it was pissing on Gwen’s grave to have her give birth to his kids. I would’ve been against the initial idea of the twins being Pete’s kids too.
I agree, although I enjoyed reading Spider-man 2099, Pete has always been the Wallcrawler I’ve been interested in.
