As you start noodling around with concepts and story ideas, in the way that you hung a heist movie element onto your superhero film, do you want to stay in that same general zone, or try on a different tone or different genre?
I think there’s probably going to be some aspects that maybe call back to the tone of this movie, but for “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” we have an entirely different template. We know what that template is, and we have an entirely different genre template for that movie. But it’s going to remain a surprise. But yes, that’s already been decided.
We’ve seen Zack Snyder’s friends come out in support of Warner Bros. releasing his original cut of Justice League, but Yahoo caught up with Superman actor Henry Cavill to get his stance, and he just doesn’t see the point and would rather focus on the future.
It’s almost over. Comcast has confirmed reports from earlier this week that the company will not bid again on 21st Century Fox. This means Disney’s $71.3B bid is now unopposed as shareholders get ready to vote on July 27. Comcast issued a statement this morning, confirming their withdrawal from the bidding war.

Warner Bros. announced the official title and release date for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker origin movie today. The movie will be simply called Joker and will hit theaters on October 4, 2019.
