Earlier this month we learned that Sony is making a Venom movie for October 2018, and today Collider is reporting that the movie is being developed with an R-rating in mind.

I’m done being pessimistic about a Spider-Manless Venom origin movie. LOL I’m gonna go see the movie regardless. They could use the Eddie Brock character, and give him whatever occupation they need him to have, in order to stumble upon the alien symbiote from…the moon or Mars, brought back to Earth from astronauts. They experiment, Carnage is created, etc. That’ll work!

Still don’t understand the Spider-Man spin off movies to create a Spider-Man universe. It’s weird, and without Spidey, the villains are far less interesting.

Personally I think they should do a stand alone movie like the makers of logan, but stick toby maguire back in as an older semi giving up spiderman, make it r rated and just have it as a stand alone movie loosely based on the original spiderman films. Who cares if there is another marvel spiderman swinging about, logan proved you can have a totally seperate movie with a new story line still incorporating the old ones and still have it be a massive success
