We know Robert Pattinson has the acting chops to fill the Batman role, but how will he look suited up as the Dark Knight? We’re not sure, but Pattinson assures fans that the suit being designed by director Matt Reeves “is going to be very, very cool.”

In an interview with Yahoo, Pattinson talked about the upcoming project, and even commented on the recent release of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. To nobody’s surprise, there are no plans for a crossover, but never say never.

“It’s kind of a different world,” Pattinson said.

As for Batman’s suit, Pattinson admitted he hasn’t seen the final version, but said director Matt Reeves “has got a really awesome idea about it.”

“I think this thing is going to be very, very cool,” Pattinson said.

Although Pattinson has yet to see — or even wear — the final version of the new Batsuit, he apparently received costume advice from none other than Christopher Nolan. “Chris told me a little bit about how to get the camo off my face — that amongst other things.”

Seeing Pattinson in the Batsuit will likely be one of the most anticipated cultural events in the coming months. Unfortunately, we have no clue when Warner Bros. plans to share an official look. The Batman is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
