Frankly, I’d be more than ok with Logan having been his final appearance as the character… It was a very good performance, and there’s really no need for more appearances from him. I think it would kind of ruin some of Logan’s fantastic closures (even though Xavier did have a fucking brutal death).

Sure, and Legion is the place where I’d like to see him, if he is indeed playing the character again (though I do agree that it would make sense for him to show up in New Mutants, but then where will Wolverine be during that?). I just think he had a nice farewell in Logan, and at least in the movies I really don’t need another appearance from him. It was just such a well-rounded performance, I can have it as his final one.

Completely agree. Let’s just hope that if he does appear again, let it be in Legion. That show is all sorts of awesome, and I can only imagine Stewart acting with that show’s writing and directing. It’s going to be lit!
