Sony announced today their Venom movie will hit theaters on October 5, 2018. That means production will begin later this year!

Useless movie about a character that really only functions as a villain in a hero’s film… Great job, Sony. Keep the great fucking ideas coming. I really have no idea why marvel’s allowing this. They’ve never done a villain focused movie, and they barely ever even care about them. And now a whole movie for a villain that works better opposite Spider-Man? And does this mean 4 mcu films for 2018? Jesus christ, I’m already exhausted.
