Sony is making a Venom movie that won’t be connected to Marvel’s Spider-Man

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures has hired Dante Harper to write a script for a Venom movie.

That’s exciting news! However, it gets a little weird. The Venom movie will not be connected to the upcoming Sony and Marvel Spider-Man reboot starring Tom Holland.
