Looks way better then the last 3 terrible Spider-Man movies.
That isn’t saying shit lol.
Weird world we live in where a man dressed as a bird steals all of Spiderman’s press.
Best comment right here.
Mostly Meh IMO.
Doesn’t look very different from other Spidey movies.
Keaton steals the show for me.
Chris… SPOILERS!
I love that MCU has Spider-Man and that he will be written into a bigger story.
He is my favorite Marvel hero, but like with Batman and the continuous replay of his parents dying… I AM REALLY OVER SEEING HIGH SCHOOL PETER. I mean I get it, this seems like a necessity to have this quasi-origin play out… but I am already looking past this movie as necessary filler for something bigger for my boy Spidey.
Downey and Holland have a ton of chemistry on screen, I am glad they are getting screen time together. Feels just like a comicbook to me.
I was a big fan back in the day of reading Marvel Team Up: Spider Man and Iron Man. I always thought it was cool that at anytime another hero could bump into another Avenger. Made the universe feel more real. That was what I was referring to with it feels like a comic. As for making Tony a surrogate dad there have definitely been worst changes in comic book lore (looking at you Jared) and this one is downright cool to me.
I think an actual good story dealing with Parker in high school would be a pretty fresh and entertaining film. His youth is what will distinguish him from the rest of the comic book movie crowd.
You want to see him grow and evolve but do not want to see him in high school? http://m.quickmeme.com/img/…
wow MGMT
Looks good! Wish Tony Stark didn’t have a bigger role than just a quick cameo, it feels like the movie needs him as a crutch to sell the movie (which is weird because I mean, it’s Spider-Man). Vultures helmet also looks a little big but I’ll wait to see more. I will say though, this movie doesn’t look all too different from The Amazing Spider-Man. Maybe they’ll pull it off better but style wise it looks about the same.
“It’s all connected.” That’s their excuse for putting characters in movies for no reason at all. Plus they probably thought it would be a great idea for Spidey to learn how to be a hero from the guy who created a killer robot because he was tired of playing superhero.
From a studio perspective it might be a little precautionary because the last Spidey (despite having nothing to do with this) could have done better financially and this is the characters second reboot, so fatigue from the general public might be a consideration.
