I think it’s on it’s own.

CBS owns CW and all 3 shows are produced by Berlanti so they could be in universe as Flash/Arrow

This has the same vibe as the Jem trailer. Studios wonder why their female characters aren’t well received while they continuously overanalyze their market perception and overreact in execution.
