The CW released a batch of photos from the premiere of Supergirl Season 2 today that give us new looks at Tyler Hoechlin as both Superman and Clark Kent.
Supergirl Season 2 premieres Monday, October 10th at 8/7c on The CW.

I am really not feelin’ his Supes. His CK’s not too bad, but he looks terrible in the S-Man costume.

Looks good. But I doubt I’ll watch Supergirl even with Superman.

They already gave him a redesign not too long ago (Well ‘redesign’ in that they just re-made his original costume). I don’t know, seems a bit unlikely.
Arrow, Flash, and Legends characters didn’t change their comic counterparts.

Also, does Clark have exactly the same hair as Superman? -
Am I the only one thinking he does not look great and that the costume is awful?

No you’re not. The costume is horrible. Why did they add those lines? And the way the cape is attached looks awful. Supergirl’s costume looks better. Then you have an actor who’s too short and too skinny. The pics of him next to James Olsen make it more obvious. Why is Olsen taller and more muscular than Superman?

Nope. The costume as a whole leaves much to be desired, but that cape in particular just sucks. I know costumer designers are expected to put their own touch of “flair” in designs, but even that can’t explain how that costume got teh green light.

This costume is similar to the one worn by the “Injustice: Gods Among Us” version of Supes…but yeah, it could be better.

New 52 Superman? I actually liked him, but I don’t think he’s coming back. 2 Supermen running around is too comicy.
