Superman will play big role on ‘Supergirl’, but you won’t see him

Superman has apparently gained a new superpower on the upcoming Supergirl television series: Invisibility.

That’s because Big Blue, who is Kara Zor-El’s cousin on the show, will not appear on-screen at any time during CBS’ Supergirl. But, as Variety reports from this week’s Television Critics Association Press Tour, Superman will cast a large presence throughout the series. So, while Superman will “exist” in Supergirl, he’ll never outright appear.
