Ahead of DC FanDome on Saturday, a new image and teaser for The Batman were revealed, giving fans a small taste ahead of a fresh trailer.
Up first is an image of the Caped Crusader looking out over Gotham City during sunrise. The picture was shared by The Batman director Matt Reeves, and is apparently taken from the trailer that’s set to drop this weekend.

The image captures the gritty mood established by the first trailer, which gave fans an early look at Robert Pattinson’s younger Bruce Wayne/Batman.
A short teaser video was also shared by the movie’s official Twitter account.
“It’s not just a signal; it’s a warning,” Robert Pattinson’s Batman says.

Batman’s signal is typically seen as a call for help. But The Batman is turning that on its head by saying the signal is also something criminals should fear. It goes along with the darker tone of the film, and hopefully means there will be horror elements that we haven’t seen much of in the past.
DC FanDome is set to kick off on Saturday, October 16 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific and will feature announcements from across DC properties. The Batman is currently set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
