Beyond that, we don’t know much about his origins other than that he’s former military. According to Jamie Chung, who plays Thunderbird’s girlfriend Blink, we’ll be getting a few more clues about the character’s backstory early on in Season 2, which will find families and lovers torn apart by the conflict between two mutant factions.
