Tom Hiddleston has been the signature villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for seven years. After first appearing as Loki in 2011’s Thor, he was back a year later to take on each of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers. He went on to reprise the role in both Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok.

He’s back again in this year’s Avengers: Infinity War for his fifth appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It would have been his sixth, but the bit he shot for Avengers: Age of Ultron was left on the cutting room floor.

So what’s it like comitting to play the same role so many times? As Hiddleston tells Hey U Guys, it’s hard to say since it was something he planned.
