Kyle Buchanan, Senior Editor at New York Magazine/Vulture, revealed that the embargo for Fantastic Four reviews won’t be lifted until “the day before the movie comes out” for online publications. The print embargo won’t lift until the day of release. Typically a review embargo is lifted a week or two before a movie’s release.
