To date, Venom has grossed 1.59 billion rubles ($24 million), which makes it this year’s second highest grossing movie locally, behind Disney’s Avengers: Infinity War. The latter came out in Russia on May 3 and grossed 2.16 billion rubles ($32.7 million).
Venom opened on 1,378 screens Oct. 4 and showed the fourth best opening-weekend performance among all releases in Russia of all time, taking in 953 billion rubles ($14.4 million).
