Venom has been tearing up the global box office and is heading home sooner than expected. The movie will be available digitally on December 11, just a couple months after its theatrical release in North America, and on 4K UHD Blu-ray December 18.
Sony has released a “rom-com” trailer to mark the occasion, which weirdly makes sense.
Honestly I think at this point Sony is just embracing the fact that the tone of this film was all over the place and are kind of poking fun at it. They don’t care though since the film has been a butt load of cash at the global box office. This obviously is a marketing scheme to sell DVD’s and digital copies for the upcoming holiday season.
Holland’s Spiderman sucks ass, Sony should keep Spidey for themselves and stop sharing him with the mouse company.
Feels way to close to what Fox did with Deadpool, but wasn’t nearly as good.
It’s awesome. Critics hate it. Go buy it and watch it a lot.
