Venom could be poised for a big box office opening. The trailers for the film may have received mixed reactions from hardcore fans, but general audience members seem to be looking forward to the film.
Fandango polled 1,000 moviegoers to discover their most anticipated movies of the upcoming fall season. According to managing editor Erik Davis, Venom came in third, behind Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and Bohemian Rhapsody.
