Too bad they went with such an uncharismatic actress for the role. Say what you will about Famke Janssen (dream of a woman, no doubt), but she was likeable and charming as Jean (let’s just not count the trainwreck that was Last Stand). Sophie Turner is so dull… She works for her character in Game of Thrones, but that’s about it.
High hopes for this movie to be great, but won’t expect much. -

Wasn’t Apocalypse that opportunity? I mean, she has played the character, so that’s probably how she’s going to go about it… Which sucks and makes me mad!

I enjoyed Apocalypse as well, maybe on a more sarcastic sense. I just didn’t like her performance at all. If she proves me wrong, then I’ll be all the better for it!

I agree on the Lawrence part, but Sophie only had one film, and she was very forgettable. I completely agree with your opinion about Scarlett, though. She is terrible in those movies, and I simply do not get ANYONE who claims they want a Black Widow movie. Scarlett had some great performances in the early 2000’s for me, but she has been kinda lacking almost since she joined the MCU. Liked her in Don Jon for what it was, and Under the Skin. That’s about it. And if you count voice only performances, Her.
