Armie Hammer has been a regular part of the Batman casting rumor mill since long before Ben Affleck’s exit became official. He’s a popular fan choice, and why wouldn’t he be? Hammer was once set to play Batman for director George Miller in the never-made Justice League Mortal.
At this point, however, if Hammer’s potential involvement in director Matt Reeves’ The Batman stretches beyond mere rumors, that would be news to him.

Not sure why people want him so badly. I like the guy but I do not see Batman when I look at him.
Of course I don’t see the Lone Ranger when I look at him either so maybe that has something to do with it.
