AT&T completes purchase of Batman, Warner Bros., and the rest of Time Warner for $85.4 billion

In October 2016, Time Warner, the parent company of Warner Bros. and DC, agreed to be purchased by AT&T for $85.4 billion. After a lengthy government approval process, a federal judge approved the purchase this past Tuesday. The two companies wasted no time in making the deal official, and AT&T announced this evening that its completed its acquisition of Time Warner Inc.
