Out of all characters, I feel like Black Widow is the most neglected in the Marvel movies. AOU just made me stop caring about her so if they’d did make a movie about her I’ll wait until it comes out on pay-per-view or not see it at all.

It wouldn’t be tragic at all imo. She’s not enough to carry an entire film on her own. Like to see her get more exposure, sure, but not a full movie. She’s a good character in mash-up films, but she’s no Ms. Marvel, Storm, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, or any other high-profile superheroine in any universe. Sorry.

If they would go into a more serious spy angle with her and perhaps throw Bucky into the mix it would certainly become a movie that could generate a pull.
