If the performance is good it won’t matter but the teeth are overkill and the damaged head tattoo isnt in character at all. He looks like a joker fan boy.

I agree with you about the head tattoo… However the teeth are realistic for a joker who has fought the steel knuckled Batfleck multiple times… The tattoos will most likely be covered by a suit and hopefully he’ll mellow when he escapes from prison… Leto is a fantastic actor and i’m sure will do the joker justice. It was right for them to separate themselves from Heath’s Joker like this…

Someone pointed out the teeth being knocked out earlier and it totally made it work for me. This is an long lived joker. The only tat that really bugs me is damaged. It doesn’t fit him. But leto himself looks good and he’s a capable actor so I’ve calmed down. In the end it all comes down to performance.
