Henry Cavill admits Zack Snyder’s style hasn’t worked: ‘Wonder Woman’ is a “step in the right direction”

With Man of Steel and especially Batman v Superman, director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. set out to make movies that were darker and more mature than what their rivals at Marvel were doing. Unfortunately, they weren’t well received by critics and mainstream audiences.

In a new interview with The Rake magazine, Superman actor Henry Cavill spoke honestly about the mistakes and struggles that the DC Films Universe have gone through. He acknowledges that Wonder Woman is a step in the right direction, and thinks its success will benefit his own future Superman movies.
