Our time with Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine looks like it’s coming to an end. The 46-year-old actor revealed today on Instagram that he will be playing the X-Men character one last time, probably in the next Wolverine movie that The Wolverine helmer James Mangold will direct.

I wouldn’t mind them casting someone shorter. Jackman is a whole foot taller than Logan.

No, it’s just a preference.
I think Jackman has been great, even when some of the films haven’t been and his height made no difference, because he got the character right and hopefully whoever takes over, can do the same.
But, as a fan of the character, I’d like to see a short Wolverine, it’s part of who he is. However, it’s far from the most important thing about him

I would love to see this amazing story on the big screen. This guy portrayed a character that is near and dear to my heart and he did a phenomenal job.

I think this is jumping to conclusions. A month ago, Jackman stated he would play Logan until he died. Within the last 2 weeks, Jackman talked about how he’d be up for an appearance in the Deadpool movie…and now it’s “one last time”?!
The speculation for the 3rd Wolverine movie has been the Old Man Logan storyline. This could easily be a hint at the movie title.
